What an outstanding dining experience we had last Saturday at "Tuscany Nokomis"!

Our party of 6 tried their early bird dinner menu and it was simply the best. There are many choices...4 of us had veal marsala. The meals come with a house salad, potato or pasta, and a vegetable. The presentation was very nice as well. They offer happy hour pricing on cocktails. "Tuscany Nokomis" really have their act together! They offer great food, very welcoming service at very fair prices! Thank you for a wonderful evening. Make a reservation and give them a try.

My wife and I went for brunch at the newly christened restaurant Tuscany Nokomis. What an amazing presentation of delicious food that included made to order omelets, typical breakfast fare, prime rib carving station, Italian specialities, meat balls, macaroni & cheese, an indulgently abundant dessert selection of tiramisu, cookies, Ghirardelli chocolate pudding, cupcakes! Well you can see the attached picture of the desserts. Along with the fabulous food, we were serenaded by live music of Sinatra.
It is a must see and taste to appreciate the lovely brunch served by the celebrated Executive Chef Jimmy Nadell, pictured at the carving station. The brunch is served on Sundays, from 10 AM to 2 PM.

This is the first time we have visited since they changed owners and chefs. We liked it before but I’m now obsessed!! Best Italian around hands down. Growing up Italian makes me picky when I go out to eat. The sauce was perfect and not sweet at all, which so many restaurants drop the ball on this. The eggplant is thinly sliced and lightly breaded with flour not overly done and greasy with breadcrumbs. I had to try a side of the broccoli and green beans and omg ❤️❤️❤️❤️ we will definitely be back and more regularly!!

I went to Mama Leone’s (soon to be Tuscany Nokomis) in Nokomis for Sunday Brunch!

Wish that I took pictures! It was the best brunch that I have had in many many years. The presentation was amazing. The food was excellent. They had over 50 items. Everything was presented in a phenomenal way. You are served at the carving station by the chef himself and owner. They had everything from fresh omelette station Bacon eggs, all different types of potatoes. They had fresh pastas with fresh pasta sauce, meatballs. Salmon cakes that were loaded with salmon so good chicken marsala chicken piccata trout that was amazing shrimp on top of all the breakfast items. And the desserts were so so good everything from tiramisu to fresh homemade chocolate moussecrème brûlée fresh fruits so worth the $25. They also have a live Frank Sinatra singer walking around singing atmosphere I can’t say enough. Will definitely be back for Sunday brunch. Had also been there for dinner and was also impressed with the dinners.

We were there yesterday and it was amazing!! So many good things and everything was fresh and tasty! What a great value, the trout was so good and the white truffle risotto was so good.

So many different and great choices!! Dessert was also great will definitely be back!

My wife had her favorite Chicken Piccata and I had the special shrimp and scallops sautéed over Rositto that was creamy. It was one of the best meals I've ever had at a restaurant. Try it you'll like it Mikey says. Sorry no pictures. Go there and Munga. You won't be sorry.

Great food, our server Holly was on top of everything and was very attentive.

The food was delicious with extremely generous portions. The red sangria was very tasty with a lot of fruit. The lasagna and stuffed shells were very authentic. The cheesecake was a generous portion and tasty. A great dining experience. The pizza also looked yummy.

The soup was piping hot, good body and loaded with contents. Excellent. The salad was cold, crisp, fresh and it was of a substantial size. Very good. The main courses were spaghetti and meatballs and I had Chicken Vesuvius. The presentation was very appetizing. The portion size was extraordinaire. By the way, when my wife ordered the pasta the server asked "what kind of pasta would you like". This is generally unheard of. My wife loves angel hair pasta. Many times, when she asks for angel hair pasta, she is told that there is an upcharge or they do not have it. At Tuscany Nokomis the server said "great". The meatballs and sauce were delectable. The server brought a basket of hot garlic bread to the table. Very impressive. My Chicken Vesuvius, a combo of chicken leg & thigh, mildly hot sausage, potato, green and red peppers all in a brown sauce was succulent. For dessert we split a tiramisu.

 

Normally I find tiramisu very bland and do not order it. This tiramisu was "to die for". A hint of cognac, nice chocolate on the top layer and the sauce was unGODly delicious. I will feel guilty about the calories but it was worth it.

My statement to Chef and owner JImmy Nadell is "impressive and outstanding". Tuscany Nokomis is my new favorite Italian restaurant. By the way I had a tour of the kitchen. I am a retired dentist and an accomplished home cook. I am very aware of hygienic practices. Chef Nadell's kitchen is spotless. You could eat off the floor if you desired. This is a very definite "lets go back" destination. By the way the pricing is very attractive. Oh yes, there was a singer/guitarist who was very good. I will stop now as I think I have presented enough accolades for Tuscany Nokomis. We cannot wait to return.

Met the new owner/executive chef (since early December 2023) and the food is so much better now. Had lunch with a large group and everyone was very pleased with their food.

Looking forward to returning for dinner and trying the new happy hour.

They also have early bird dinner specials.
